Admittedly, Microsoft’s standard reports were not exactly impressive in the past. Customising them for the respective customer was, and in most cases still is, necessary. Microsoft is aware of this too and is now providing more flexible variants with an additional package for Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. The following reports can now be designed differently: Account statement / Customer Statement Free text invoice / Free Text Invoice Project invoice / Two Project Invoices Project quotation / Project Quote Packing slip (purchase order) / Purchase Packing Slip Purchase order / Purchase Order Product receipt list (purchase order) / Purchase Receipt List Order confirmation / Sales Confirmation Sales invoice / Sales Invoice Packing slip / Sales Packing Slip Sales quotation / Sales Quotation Vendor invoice / Vendor Invoice Different logos, contact persons, addresses or even colours can be defined for each report. Certainly a step in the right direction. These reports are also a good starting point from which to begin the final fine-tuning for your company.
