Numeric fields in AX allow simple basic arithmetic. This means you don’t need a calculator or even Excel to carry out simple additions, subtractions, multiplications or divisions. A simple example, to calculate CHF 42.00 + 10% in the amount field: simply enter «42*1.1» and AX calculates this directly in the field. Do try it out at the next opportunity and save time!
