Microsoft announces changes to the licensing of the Finance & SCM Apps In early April 2025, Microsoft announced in a blog that comprehensive changes to the licensing of the Finance & SCM applications will be introduced over the course of the year. The aim is to simplify licence management and to create greater transparency regarding the availability and usage of licences. What will change over the course of the year: From 1 September 2025 ( originally 30 April 2025 ) , administrators in the Power Platform Admin Center gain access to enhanced reports on licence usage. These reports provide insights into available and already assigned licences. In LCS (Lifecycle Services) , the same report is provided to give customers and implementation partners access to details about the current licence status.
