One Version Service Updates Microsoft's „One Version" initiative for Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management aims to implement a continuous update model that ensures an always up-to-date version of the software. From 19 February 2024, Microsoft is changing the cadence of the updates. What is changing from the start of 2024 4 updates per year (previously 7) General availability in the months of March , June, September and December. The major versions are in March and September. Automatic updates take place in February, April, July and October The customer must still install at least 2 updates per year A maximum of one update can be skipped/paused (previously 3) The version numbers follow the quarter according to the date of the automatic update: e.g. CY24Q1 / CY24Q2 (previously 10.0.xx) The last version under the previous release plan is 10.0.38 (December release). CY24Q2, or 10.0.39, is therefore the first update under the new cycle. Planning of the service updates The planning of the service updates from 10.0.37.
