With Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, a new, comprehensive module for warehouse management is provided among numerous new functionalities. The features include, among other things, easily configurable workflows for put-away and picking, stock counts and location replenishment, as well as support for cluster picking, handheld devices and various picking strategies for items with and without batch numbers. Warehouse managers receive greater transparency and control over the processes in put-away, quality control and picking. With the flexible warehouse workflow engine, it is also possible to respond quickly to new and changed business requirements. With the mobile scanner solution available „out of the box”, goods can be scanned easily and tasks in picking and put-away can be completed more quickly.
