Safelog offers an error-free multi-order picking solution with its intelligent picking trolley, without any additional installations on the racking. The solution impresses with its efficiency and the best possible reliability in processes such as put-away and picking. Sonepar Austria is relying on the solutions from Safelog in its new logistics centre. We implemented the interfaces for this in Microsoft Dynamics AX. The put-away transports and also the picking lists are passed to the Safelog system via a web service. The confirmation of the put-away or withdrawal is in turn provided via a web service and is posted directly in AX. In addition to the process reliability offered by the picking trolley, we gain further advantages through the integration into Microsoft Dynamics AX. Stock levels are updated in real time, stock counts can be carried out during the process, and the manual posting of transactions is eliminated entirely.
